As part of our upcoming tinnitus assessment service Hear Aberystwyth is proud to announce that it has partnered with Neuromod devices in Ireland to provide the new Lenire® tinnitus treatment device here in the UK. We are currently the only centre based in Wales to be able to offer this treatment.
Licensed for use in the UK & Europe, Lenire® and now following further extensive clinical trials, has been licensed by the FDA for retail in the USA.
In the clinical trials, after 12 weeks, 95% of treatment-compliant participants had a reduction in Tinnitus Handicap (THI) scores and 84% had a reduction in Tinnitus Functional Index (TFI) scores. *
We are very excited to be involved in the UK rollout of this new service and proud to put Ceredigion on the map as the initial site of this new therapy in Wales.
As we complete our tinnitus training and get our new clinic ready to provide it, watch out for news of the launch of this new service.
