About Us
Hear is an independent, family-run business offering a range of audiology services, including hearing tests, hearing aids, hearing protection, ear wax removal and tinnitus assessments, advice, and therapies. From our clinics in Aberystwyth and Aberteifi we are able to offer a first-class audiology service to residents of Mid and West Wales.
The business is owned by Nick and Bronwen Raine, who have lived in West Wales for 25 years. Nick brings 24 years of audiology experience as a clinician in both hospital and high-street settings. In recent years, he has held senior management roles, including Head of Retail at a leading national hearing aid provider. Bronwen, as Managing Director of Antur Cymru Enterprise, has spent 15 years supporting new and established businesses across Mid and West Wales, helping them to grow and succeed.
Nick’s extensive experience has highlighted a significant gap in aftercare services provided by many competitors. Recognising that hearing aids have a long service life and that customers’ hearing needs evolve over time, he is committed to offering comprehensive aftercare to ensure that customers can maintain their devices in optimal condition. This approach guarantees that every customer receives true value for money.
